Cool Color Combo

I love this color combination: chocolate chip, baja breeze, and not quite navy. Unfortunately, baja breeze will soon be retiring. Enjoy this paper/ink while you can.

I used reverse masking on this card. Using the square scallop punch, I punched a square area, then sponged baja breeze through the mask, onto very vanilla card stock.

Stamps: Trendy Trees
Ink: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Chocolate Chip ribbon, scallop edge punch, scallop square punch, sponge

I made many different versions of this card, but have given them all away. This is the only one I still have and the greeting is crooked. In my other versions, I used chocolate chip ribbon across the bottom and tied different types of bows. It was much prettier than this card.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip

One of my favorite stamp sets

This is one of my new favorite stamp sets: Flight of the Butterfly. I've made a lot of cards with this set and will post them as soon as I photographic them. I saw a card like this one on Splitcoast and changed it a little. Here is the link to that card: Butterfly Wishes

Ink: Only Orange, Yo Yo Yellow, Pink Passion, Taken with Teal, Certainly Celery
Paper: Whisper White, Pink Passion, Taken with Teal

Tri-Fold Swing Card

I can't remember what the exact name of this card design is called: tri-fold, swing, who knows. Anyway, I really liked this card and was quite proud of it. I made it for Molly's first birthday. I used the masking technique to cover the hippos while sponging the "ground" beneath their feet. I also used masking by punching a flower from the Boho Blossom punch, laying it on the paper, and sponging over the top with Rose Red ink (same color as the paper). I think it turned out really well.
